Labels:
- 2D artwork
- Must have a label attached to the back of the work
- 3D artwork
- Must have a label attached to the underside or inside of the work
- Labels must include the artist’s name and title of the work. Optional: medium, technique, size, and year.
Hanging & Hardware:
- 3D artwork
- Must be ready to install, any stands, mannequins, or other supports must be provided by the artist
- 2D artwork
- Unframed 2D works must have a 2-inch sleeve sewn along the topside and include a dowel with an eye screw on either end. The sleeve and hardware must not be visible when hung.
- Heavier 2D works may be installed with Velcro
- Works on paper must be finished to an archival standard and can either be framed or adhered to a gallery wrap canvas or cradled wood panel
- Do NOT use sawtooth fixtures, instead use d-rings
- Works finished on wood cradles or frames must be wired with d-rings and plastic-coated picture wirewire. The wire should be a minimum of 1½ inches from the top of the frame when pulled tight. Wires and hardware must not be visible when hung.
- Where appropriate decorative rods may be used to hang the work
- Suspended 2D & 3D artwork
